Small
Business
Of all the employers in Missouri, 75 percent have 10 employees
or less. Small Business is absolutely vital to the growth of this
state and this nation. Therefore, as elected officials
we need to find new and creative ways to support small business
in creating good paying jobs, with affordable benefits.
As your State Representative I will:
- Work to shift the focus of tax credits toward small business
and local business to assist with the rising cost of health care.
By doing this small business owners can afford to both pay well
and provide affordable benefits to their employees and themselves.
I believe this will do wonders for our state in terms of health
care coverage and the economy.
- I also believe that small businesses should be allowed to join
together to create strong benefits packages and incentives for
employees. This will create jobs and drive revenue in our state
by helping small business and “mom and pop shops”
compete.
It’s time small business no longer gets placed on the back
burner to CEOs that don’t even live in this state. We must
defend those business leaders that create jobs within our communities
and help our workers get better pay and health benefits. In the
end, everyone wins.
